Rock Me to Sleep [SATB and Piano]

About this Piece: This text by 19th century American Poet, Elizabeth Akers Allen was a perfect text to set. The main text that comes back is, "Rock me to sleep mother, rock me to sleep." I treated that phrase with a rocking rhythm throughout the whole piece. There are little dances as well between the men's and women's voices that give the piece playful moments.
